Inspiration
People
The past few years have been a wild trip, and I have had the great fortune to work with, and learn from, some very influential people in the field of design. Special thanks go to:
- Simon Niedenthal at K3, for his inspiring teaching style, and giving me the first exposure to user-centered design. As director for a young program, he let the students have a say in the direction we should take.
- David Cuartielles, of Arduino fame, for introducing me to the wonderful world of physical computing, where the tangible and virtual realities meet. David deserves a special mention for giving so much of himself to support educational projects.
- Marcos Garcia at Medialab Madrid, for inviting our group of students to Madrid and the Interactivos? workshop and exhibition, my first major exposure to interactive art installations.
- Russell Taylor at SIAT, for always making us work harder and push ourselves further, and look to real people to find the truly good ideas.
